The National Heritage Responders are a group of professional conservators and allied professionals available to assist cultural heritage institutions in the aftermath of emergencies where collections are at risk. \u00a0Members completed training in the disaster response and recovery practices and protocols appropriate for events that impact cultural heritage collections and permanent records holdings. The group supports a 24 hour hotline. \u00a0Jo Anne Martinez-Kilgore serves as a member of this group.<\/p>\n
